This system continued all the way through to around April, at (or sometimes just ). The second month (November, ) were labelled, the third (December, ) were and so on. The first batch of Boss pedals were made in October, and featured the code for the whole month of production. The letter Z may look like a 2 and a zero may actually be a letter O. It isn't always next to the other letter.
If you have a Boss serial number with just one letter please double check in case another character is actually a letter.
